I have just caught up with this build - not sure how i missed it before but.... Wow! The engine is a work of art in itself, and the wing markings are super. If tis model does not win prizes I do not know what will.

Stephen.

Jacek - amazing work on the decals and engine.  The turnbuckles look scratchbuilt - how are they attached to the wings?  Are they attached to a ring bolt glued to the wing so they can move to the correct angle as the rigging is attached?

thanks!

Dave

Turnbuckles are only pasted in holes.

Very impressive work Jacek! I really like the method you've used on the flight control turnbuckles/control horns, it looks very realistic and your work is extremely clean. The entire model is superb at this stage, it will be even more spectacular when completed. "Chapeau!" as they say!
Cheers,
Lance

Very careful and clean work! I like the colors on the fuselage. What do you use for the mauve/violett?
Good preparation for the rigging, so the work on this is mostly done ;D  ;)

Cheers,

Jacek -

Beautiful work, and I really appreciate your answering my questions.  I'm at a similar place on my build of the same model.

How did you drill the holes for the rudder and stabilizer rigging? I tried with my smallest bit (.3 mm) and given that the plastic piece is only around .5mm, it was really hard to drill centrally, and the remaining plastic ring was really thin.  I ended up cheating and gluing the line behind the attachment and not through it.  What size bit did you use, and was it any special kind?

thanks!

Dave

I apologize for such a long absence in this workshop, the reason for absence is next to Pfalz.
I'm already starting to finish the model  :D

I did not use anything special, only a 0.3 drill.

Nice to see your Pfalz!
There are only two states to be in:  Queensland and blotto.
