A very fine group of builds, Rowan. Looking forward to see them completed, and in a better light  ;)

Rowan,
As usual I don't know where to start! The new pics of the DVII are awesome! It looks better than the original posting which was FANTASTIC! The Pfalz and Pup are also awesome/ Those decals look really great! Whos are they(Just kidding) ::) Your work is terrific and it is great to see these masterpieces coming off of your bench!

  Rowan,
That's one impressive flight line you've coming together there my old friend. Can't think of a better way to show off your Outstanding decals than to display them than on such examples of craftsmanship and skills. Well Done . Best of Luck at Telford.
Highest Regards,

Holy cow, Rowan!  I love the paint & decals on the Pup.  I can see that
appearing on my want list soon.  Wonderful set of models coming along
there, my friend! Just where did you get those yummy decals, anyway? ;) ;D
Thanks for sharing, Rowan.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks for all the great comments, chaps!

Well, off to the UK tomorrow morning at the crack of the sparrow's fart. The Pup didn't make it  :'(, the Pfalz is unrigged (top wing left off so we can do that on return), Mimmi is also short of even her control rigging and the fuselage decals are glossy ( ran out of varnish...) but I hope that they show off the stickers well enough.

I'm delighted with the Pfalz Jasta 30 set and with Mimmi decals as everything fits prety much as it should (always my biggest fear!)

More and better pics when we get back and really sorry for the flash lighting etc but at least this gives some idea:

Mimmi and the pfalz look great even in their slightly unfinished form! Too bad about the Pup not making the trip. I am looking forward to seeing them completed upon your return! Good Luck at the show!

Bon voyage Rowan

I can't wait to see them at Telford. My flight is late Friday evening, but I hope to be at the show bright and early on the Saturday.

Best wishes

Thanks Rick, I'll get onto the Pup when we get back - but at a slightly less frenetic pace.

Hello Nigel,  Ryan Air from Limoges? Did that once after we missed the flight to Clermont Ferrand. Hope the buggers don't make you stand all the way!

Will be great to meet a fellow Brit-in-France-ex-pat-WWI-modeller - we're a rare breed!

Models now in their box - already shed a rudder... will fix on arrival - panicky running around and printing profiles and booklets, loading soon for our 6 am depart in the morning. Six hours to Calais, two hours ferry and three hours to Daughter in Berkhamsted - weather permitting! It should be easier than this... feeling my age!

Unfinished or not Rowan, they are a very handsome trio!  Beautifully done.
After the dust has settled, I look forward to photos of all four finished.  Best
of luck for a successful show at Telford!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Indeed Rowan, joy of joys, it's Ryanair.

Have a safe journey and I hope that the Channel is more settled than things here near Limoges, where it has rained really hard for several days now. The small river at the back of our garden is looking ominously high.

 Look forward to meeting you.

Best wishes
