Wow, almost fell off my chair.  CSM has the O/400 in 1/48 and now Wingnuts will bring it in 1/32.  A good time for WW I modelers although most will have to add an addition to the house to park this beauty.

It's an interesting release, and I admire their bravery in marketing such a huge airplane, but I have no interest in this one.

It's ridiculously large in 1/32 scale and it's an eyesore of an aircraft.

Peter Jackson just can't bring himself to model aircraft from other countries, can he?!

I would build the Lancaster before this one!  Fact is I have the display space for neither, and if i I did, it would have a Felixstowe in it anyway!

OH well, onto the next WNW release, whenever that will be.

To further whet the appetite here's a photo of the O/400 at Telford provided specifically for our Forum.

Curious to know how they've strengthened the joint for that folded back wing, if they have(!), or maybe there's some kind of support underneath

The wing fold will help with space issues.
Well done WNW for bringing out the BP.

I'm sure Harry Woodman would of approved.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, WnW!

I was dreading another hun aircraft, hoping for UK, and this is a stunner. A bit tired of Gothas :)

Just sorted out my shelving in my hobby room, and if my plans go as I want (and I live that long lol), I'll have the 1/48th and 1/32 HP's amd Felixstowes sitting side by side.

I am Happy to see that the New Release was WW1! I think it looks to be a fantastic kit. On the other hand Bombers of this size are out of my price range and storage capacity! I look forward to seeing the build logs of those who purchase this kit!

Mark, that's an interesting point you raise!  Is it possible the hinge is metal but painted gray in the photo?  I shudder to think that amount of weight/force in being transferred through that tiny hinge in styrene!

I'll be curious to see how they engineered that.

I think there are many who ask themselves the same question ... in the real plane there was not an anchorage point between wing and fuselage when the wings were bent? .... in this case it could be the fuselage itself to support the load ...

There's no wing fold mechanism in the kit. It's wings out or wings in.
