Lovely Alastair!

Very nice, subtle effects.

Thanks Steve, Guy
Steve - I copied the sponge technique from Gary (I think?) on his brilliant Roland model posted here. I think he did a better job than me though.
Guy - your yellow wing version was an inspiration for me. I tried your salt technique for the mottling but without success!

Cheers

Stunning work! The mottled effect is just great and makes the model look very realistic.

Thanks Manni, Guiseppe and Rick
I finally got the prop on after waiting an eternity for the oils to dry. Also got the rigging batons on which was more fiddly than expected. So all finished now.

Beautiful, Alistair! I love the Hannover since I was seven (Airfix, you know..) and your build is truly a beauty! Thanx for sharing! The non-camouflage single-colour scheme shows off the plane's shape best, I think.

Wonderful finish Alistair, one to be proud of. That prop is as good as it gets without chopping up a piece of tree, really impressive work!
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks Lance, Dave, RH and Rick
I really appreciate such feedback from modellers whose work I greatly admire.

I have just started a WNW Fokker EIV but with summer holidays coming up probably won't be posting anything on that until February.

Have a great Christmas!

Cheers
