You saw my old set up which I had before which was pieced together what ever I could find . Every thing was make sift out the items .
I have a new modelling desk now . My work place we got new office furniture so I was able to score one of the desk .

Me too,that's a marvelous setup Terri,I really like that configuration,very functional for simultaneous builds if required too.

Stephen, that is a very minimalistic approach - but seems to be very effective!
You are not the only one: there is a swiss diorama builder, recently creating a great book (at the moment in german, soon in french), who is doing his work on a small tablett

You can remove the drawers, and on each of them has a cork floor. And the lowest level can take a Eduard kit box easily.
I use two of them, and have a safe storage for all painted and glued parts of started biplane kits

i've moved house. stuff is still piled in the middle of the floor in most rooms, but a workbench is only weeks away.
