Halberstadt CL.II radiator
« on: May 15, 2018, 05:09:01 AM »
Any chance of a ‘drop-in’ replacement top wing radiator with see through louvres for the forthcoming Halberstadt Bo?

The test shots look as though the radiator is a separate part, the same methodology as the Albatros Dv wing construction.

The Albatros replacement radiators you produce are fantastic by the way, thanks! ;) :)

Yes, for sure. Of course it will have to wait till I get my hands on a kit (which will be as soon as it is avail, no doubt).

Been busy and preoccupied again -- this is the first I'd heard of the imminent WNW Halberstadt CL.II. Finally! This is the one I've been calling for since... forever. Yay!

For those of you who would like to see a Halberstadt CL.II see through radiator...

I've created a Patreon page:

https://www.patreon.com/bomonroe

If I can reach the goal of $175 in pledges, I will be able to move forward on this project. The funds will cover the cost of the donor model and iterating through the test prints (estimated 3 iterations). Patrons who pledge @ $10 more (the Rittmeister Tier) will have first access to the product, and will be able to order it (and any new products that follow on) from Shapeways as cost + shipping, whatever that turns out to be.
