Yes, Dave, quite impressive...a lot of work went into that....thanks for posting it. I wonder what that prevalent marking of a W and a D flanking an upward pointing arrow was.

Excellent video.

The W D stands for War Department https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Department_(United_Kingdom) (precursor of MoD). The arrow is a variation on the broadarrow symbol used in heraldry. Here's a Wiki link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broad_arrow.
