Many thanks for your support, Rick, Stephen, Gaz, Andreas, Antonio and Giuseppe, I am also glad to be back!

Hooray, finally all struts are in place and aligned, I can not wait to move on to more enjoyable parts of the build. :)

Cheers

Great work Ondra, your skills in working on such tiny subjects continue to amaze me and it's a true pleasure to follow your efforts. Barker's Camel is yet another subject on my list of near future projects although I'll be taking the easier path of a larger scale! ;)
Cheers,
Lance

I agree!  How can you even see where to attach those struts?!  I'm blown away, my friend!

Truly exceptional work from the get go.

Those struts look as though they are little thicker than a human hair! Brilliant.

Many thanks to all of you for your supportive and generous comments, they are highly appreciated!

I continued the work on the fuselage and adjusted the cockpit opening to the shape which seems about right to my eye. I am glad I invested the effort into the interior details, as eventually a lot will remain visible.

I also started working on the upper side of the fuselage.

As the Camel featured small inspection windows on the leading edges, I want to represent them on my model too.

I used paper templates to find the right position on the wings:

Afterwards I carved the holes with this tool which Sergey Mertens made for me. Many thanks for that, a great jig!

The next step was black paint and inserting 0,6 mm diameter circles made of aluminium sheet.

The glass was added by using photopolymeric glue, Will see what it will look like once sanded and polished.

Cheers

Ondra

Your added details, which are not there on kits in bigger scale, is impressive as always!
So tiny :o

My eyes are hurting looking at your photos! I could not possibly do what you are doing without an eye loupe, and even then I am not sure that I could do it at all!
