Great War Exhibition in NZ
Dave W:
Sir Peter Jackson's spectacular Great War Exhibition is being held at the war memorial museum in Wellington NZ where some prized artifacts from WW1 are on show.
This six inch gun is one field piece on show in a realistic diorama setting created by the award-winning Weta special effects people whose magic perfectly recreates the reality of WW1.
A 4.5 inch British howitzer on display
The ultimate 1:1 diorama scene of New Zealanders in a trench. The attention to detail is phenomenal.

A highly recommended exhibition with much more to see than these sample photos from my recent visit.
