Sopwith Schneider Camo

Hello,
Trying to model the "old dog" 1:72 Eduard Sopwith Schneider/Baby,  I saw on Windsock devoted to the aircraft a picture of No. 1557 (an early Schneider) which is supposed  to be painted with "patches of blue and grey" on upper side of wings and air frame. I would like to know if there is a more concrete reference on  british seaplane early camouflage patterns and colors.

Well...

Firstly, I doubt that there is. Datafiles are pretty good

Secondly, if there is - you won't find it until after you've finished the model

There weren't a lot of Schneiders, even fewer with that camouflage so the chances of there being more photos are pretty low

It's an attractive idea for a scheme - go for it!
