Which Spandau?
« on: November 27, 2023, 01:24:18 PM »
Forumites,
I'm wanting to take advantage of Costa's/Gas Patch's Black Friday sale and get some Spandaus for upcoming builds. My Datafiles and other references are buried too deep to get to them conveniently, and I wondered if I could call on the hive mind for help.

I'm planning on doing two Fokker-built D.VII's from the Eduard "Fokker! Fokker!" boxing. Which one of the myriad is appropriate? The late Fokker type?

I'm also planning on a couple of Fokker Tripes. Again, which one?

TIA!

Warren

As far as I remember there’s a photo in the mini Datafile that shows a Fokker D. VII with MG 08. If you are not modeling a specific D.VII, I’d say you can hardly go wrong.

Thanks Andreas, I'll dig out my references.
