Wagner Models 1/33rd Pfalz Dr-1 Triplane
« on: February 23, 2018, 02:26:20 PM »
Hello All,

I just finished this tonight.  Pretty much a delight to build.  I only tweaked a few things like repainted the prop, made a new prop hub, added some detail to the engine and added some scuffing and dirt under the engine, around the cowling and inspection panels and under the bottom wing where dirt from wheels may have attached (all in pastel chalks).  Otherwise, I figure it would have been pretty clean as I think none became operational.  On to the beauty shots:

Thanks for looking!  Keep snipping, gluing and folding... ??? ::) ;)

Loved your build thread and its final result.  You make this look easy (and great).  Congratulations on another super build.

Extraordinary, Dan!  I'm completely blown away!  I never would've imagined that such perfection could been achieved with paper.
Cheers,
Bud

I too enjoyed your build thread. I am amazed by what you achieve with paper - you make it look so simple...... I just know that I struggle enough with plastic card - folding paper like this is not my forte. Super model.
