All Wingnut wings models are limited run, you wouldn’t know it from the quality. Once done and oop then they are done. Or so we are told.

I doubt that. The quality of the pieces suggests high quality moulds. Things that WnW invested a lot of money into. Therefore re-releases are likely. Releasing the kits on a limited basis is a way to drive up demand.

How many of us who missed the RE 8 and Triplane, etc., the first time around, are now foaming at the mouth for one? I know I am.

i agree... no matter how much they intend to stick to their principles they'll do repops of popular kits. it's just not rational to leave piles of money on the table.

Next up: Black Flight Trilogy please...

i'm a go forward with a Black Flight using Roden kits and aftermarket fuselages. that'll surely prompt WNW to release it as soon as i finish...

This set is still available in New Zealand - Modelair in Auckland (I have no association with them except as a customer). They also have several other long ago "sold outs" - Fokker's and others - but at a serious premium - $250NZD for the Fokker's.

Cheers

I did indeed just pick up this set through Weta, I sat on the fence for a long while with this one, even after a certain someone mentioned that they had been told that this kit was a considerably smaller size run than most Wingnut kit runs.
Anyway, all is not lost if you want this kitset, if you are quick........
