All in favour say eye
« on: December 30, 2017, 11:50:44 PM »
Well I wish I could. After months of drops, tests and re tests a small shunt was put in my left eye. It worked. For nine days. The tube attached to my iris and blocked putting my eye pressure and pain up to 49. Friday my eye was swept, lasered and manipulated (squished manually) to clear the tube from the iris and the pressure came back down. This may be temporary. I go back on Sunday morning for a re examination to see where it stands. The surgeon has been great thru all of this but the frustration of no progress in an attempt to stop the deterioration of my sight, it will never improve, is getting me down. Treasure your vision, act on any signs of problems and keep building those great models everybody. Have a safe and happy new year.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, Steve. I keep my fingers crossed (I am not religious, so I can not send any prayers) for your quick and full recovery.

All the best to you in the new year.

I hope tomorrow's examination proves positive for you Steve, I can understand your frustration and can only imagine the impact it is having on you. Try to think positive and hopefully the deterioration will be arrested. We are all pulling for you and hope to see you recovered soon.

Wishing you all the luck getting your site restored.   I've been blind in my right eye since September and after the second surgery I think it may come back.  You're right,  it does get you down.
