1/48 Eduard Sopwith Triplane
« on: January 18, 2018, 01:48:34 PM »
Since I'm a new member figured I'd post a couple of my previous builds. 1/48 Eduard Sopwith Triplane with aeromaster decals. Probably my last attempt to rig with monofilament always seem to have trouble keeping it tight. I did discover several broken after the pics were taken, woops!

Another very nice model Sean, the rigging can be quite easily repaired though.

Very nice.

A comment on rigging. I am surprised you have problems with monofilament. This line combined with eyelets seems to be the most convenient way to make perfectly tight rigging. Have you done it without eyelets? Or what was the problem?

Lovely tripe! As for the Mono if it has not come loose from the locating holes some heat from an incense stick could probably tighten it back up?

She's a beauty, Sean!  I agree.  A little heat should do the trick.

A lovely Tripe and interesting to see one on skids for a change. (I like anything that is out of the ordinary!) You are clearly a modeller with much skill: I look forward to seeing more of your models.
