Well, I actually finished this about a week ago but I've been struggling with both dropbox and photobucket so couldn't post anything till today and even then not all of the photos uploaded to photobucket. Oh, well. It's done. I'm convinced that anyone with a full 72 hrs without interruption could build a reasonable model from this kit. I'm pleased that I was able to finish it in 4 weeks considering we were away on a Rhine cruise for nearly 2 weeks and I had to work 3 days on either side of that trip. So, here she is.

With my other Dr.I, the old DML kit done in Steinhauser's markings.

And with my other Voss kite, the first model I completed after a 20 year hiatus and the model that got me hooked on WWI aircraft, Eduard's 1/48 Pfalz D.III.

Looks great! You seem to be doing in an hour what takes me a week. What are you using for paints and woodgraining that dries so quickly? You seem to be able to mask and apply decals over really freshly painted surfaces without disturbing them.
Dave
I used Aviattic's wood decals, Dave, so no masking was required.
Thanks for all the encouragement, guys. Sorry to let y'all down.
Now to get back on that Pup.
Cheers,
Bud
