German Military Standard Horse Driven Carts for Dioramas
« on: October 04, 2012, 02:23:35 AM »
Meine Herren !

Italeri, Tamiya and Academy have and had 1/35 kits of german  horse-driven Military Carts like medical carts, Gulaschkanone, etc.
From source photos I could'nt find any differences between these standard military carts of the Wehrmacht
und dem Kaiserlichen Heer.
So I think one may use them without hesitation as an ad to a diorama / vignette and so on.

If it is a proven design, and a sturdy wagon, I don't see where it would have changed too much in 25 years.

Except, of course, that the wheels have been made progressively rounder as the years have progressed.

There was also the ESCI horse drawn wagon, which may have been re-popped by Italeri.

Mike italeri did re-pop the wagons in one box. To my eye they are closer to 1:32 scale than 1:35. The driver figures a huge!
