Thanks, Andreas!  That's actually NATO black.  The natural lighting in this room makes it look blue.  I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it.
Cheers,
Bud

Me too, although the implied blue looks really smart...    ;D

Moon and stars are out!  Not as tedious as I thought it would be.  Easier than lozenge rib tapes.

Still lots of detail painting, touch up and weathering to do before the top wing goes on.
Cheers,
Bud

I did the Union Jack Scheme a while back, still one of my favorites.  This is a cool scheme and it is coming along nicely.  Looking forwad to seeing you weather the beastie.

Thank you, my friends!

I did the Union Jack Scheme a while back, still one of my favorites.

I remember that one, Mark!  What a beauty she is.  I have those decals and I'm considering doing that one with the remaining Pup I have in my stash.  By the way, it's great to see you back on the forum.

Cheers,
Bud

Hi Bud where did you get those stars decals?

Great work so far! Beautiful scheme you chose?

I got very curious about the Union Jack scheme Mark mgunns was talking about, is it possible to view that scheme somewhere?

Thanks

Antonio

Hello Andonio64:  Here you go:  I did this when PHEON first released the decal, the stars and moon are on the same sheet.  Decals went on very nicely and as you can see a very strking scheme  The decal is still available from PHEON at http://www.pheondecals.com/-32015-sopwith-pup-trainers-and-pets.html

Thank you Mark!
It's psychedelic indeed!. I was imagining something like Pete Townshend's Union Jack-et...

Thanks again

Antonio

PS apologies to Bud for this OT!
