New ICM catalog
« on: January 23, 2017, 04:21:02 AM »
Over on another site, they have pictures of the new ICM catalog. They include new first world war figures as well as new variants of the Ford Model T in both 1/35 and 1/24. Although it is not a first world war subject what interests me most is the new tool 1/32 I-16.

Thanks for posting.  Will be getting the WW I U.S. Medical personnel for the ambulance (great little kit) among others.

In addition to making the I-16 in 1/48 scale (and now 1/32), they also make the I-153. Hopefully if the I-16 is successful they will make the I-153 which I would like even more in 1/32 scale. Just going by the pictures it looks like they may share parts (don't quote me on that), so maybe the chances are more likely than not.

Bo, their 1/35 figures are pretty good, not as detailed as resin but actually pretty good.  I've assembled their 1916 French troops and was impressed with the faces and hands and general feel for the figures.

I would even go a little further: Take resin heads from hornet and add them to your ICM 1/35 figures, and you have figures that definitely can cope with any resin figure. Take a look at their German 1918 storm troopers. their uniform is the best I've ever seen in injection molded plastic.

There is a discussion on the following forum about the new 1/32 I-16.

I do agree with Borsos, maybe the poses are a little bit enfatic but nothing that can't be easily corrected. Besides they are on the cheap side in respect of resin figures, all in all great value for money. For what is worth I recomend them.

P.s.
I build their 1:48 Ford ambulance that was a thiny but pretty good model. So I expect bigger scales to be good as well.
