Pfalz D.III/IIIa engine exhaust
« on: July 05, 2016, 09:20:14 PM »
Roden supplies two engine exhausts in their 1/72 scale Pfalz D.III/D.IIIa kit.   I have never seen the saxophone shaped exhaust in any photos.

Which plane used the saxophone exhaust?  Thanks!

Rip,
Sorry no one has replied to this for you. This weekend I'll try to dig out my kit and my DF and see if I can help you with this sir.

Rip, found one pic lately. This system that you can't put pics straight from computer sucks. Have to figure out my photopucket account password and I'll put that pic here.

Pfalz D.III with saxophone and late style air intake cover and extra intake slots on nose.

And pic is upside down. Should be 180 degrees other way around. :)
