Hi Ian, health for a pilot is paramount... there is no leeway or easy way... so you have to go with the flow... but I'm pretty sure it can be sorted out as the members above have noted. We will hold thumbs for you.

Sorry to read about your eye problems Ian: my late father had ops on both eyes for your problem and it transformed his life. I am sure that you will be the same and be able to fly again soon (and thus earn the cents for the plastic and other necessities of life).

In the meantime you could finish the RE8 so that those of us lucky enough to have good vision can sit and admire it at our leisure!!

Had both eyes done four years ago. I now see a much wider range and intensity of colors, and both eyes are 20-20. You will love your new vision.
