In years past, October has been a month for releases.  Seems like a probable time to see the Camel.

Yes, Eric, those were the days! But the times, they are achangin'!
If I didn't know better I would be tempted to believe you have some superior inside knowledge the rest of us do not possess. Unlike you, I choose to see the "glass half full", especially in light of the post above by Dave J.  Then again maybe you think he's just trolling us...  8)

Haha, Eric, and: No, I have no knowledge beyond what allof us here on the Forum (except, maybe, good Dave) know. It was just me, expressing my moods.

Hey guys,

I can assure you the lack of releases and announcements throughout the year means that we are not slowing down or "winding down" as some have said in the past. This has been a busy year for us with the changeover to Weta for Distribution, and few other things that have been happening behind the scenes.

I can ensure you that you won't be yet down with Camel when its released, it looks very impressive in the flesh. And there are plenty of surprises yet to come, I must admit... There are couple of subjects that I am excited about!  :-X

As usual, the demise of WNW is greatly exaggerated...

Thanks for the tidbit Dave  !

Noticed today that the Camel has been removed from the Wingnuts home page, does this mean that there is some movement happening with the Camel  ;) maybe the release is coming soon.

Not too soon I hope Des; I have (selfish and perhaps unlikely!) hopes that the present shipping method for us Canadian customers may be somewhat improved upon before I am tempted to order this little gem! Hope springs eternal etc. etc! ::)
Cheers,

There is no rush to get the Camel, till they fix the shipping. Doubt they will be sold out before the new year.

I'll have to check my Sopwith refs, but I think the WNW Camel has taken longer to plan, design, build and deliver than the real thing did 100 years ago!!!

Hopefully at least one US marked plane, which would be another solidly into the 1920's era of aviation.
so, a Fokker DVIII, Sopwith Baby, and Junkers J1 would suit me just fine. Along with the Camel....
