Congratulations on another brilliant build, Gary.  The D.IIIa is a beauty!  I really
like the way you have mastered the black.  It is as good as it gets, my friend.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Really great!
Black is very difficult to weather in a way that it looks not like a toy and you've made here am outstanding job.

Congratulations Gary painting the model is great, especially the black fuselage looks very natural.

This is absolutely beautiful work, as well as a plane itself, and a real pleasure to watch it. BR, Paul

I owe an apology as I have only just seen this. This is a superb model - I really admire the finish which you have achieved and the colour scheme which is really attractive without being over the top.  Great modelling in every department.

I have to agree with Russell's comment, this would have looked great as a factory finish but the chipped paintwork and weathering effects make it a stunner.
