Got a little work done on top.

I find myself cleaning and painting struts and drilling holes for rigging.  This is really going fast.
Cheers,
Bud

Bud, my friend, I am completely in awe of what you have already accomplished
in the build.  I am sold on the woodgrain decals.  Well done!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Bud,

I have just seen this thread - missed it before. The wood effect that you have achieved with the transfers made me look twice - I really thought that you had made the fuselage from wood! Then I realised that it was one of your builds and I knew why it looked so realistic. The remainder of the build is also up to your impeccable standards - a true master modeller at work here.

Stephen.

Wow, bud, this definitely is one of the best woodgrain depictions I have ever seen, thumbs up!

I'm truly humbled by your kindness, guys!  Thank you so much.  I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post.  Got quite a bit done since then.  In fact, she's finished.  Just a bit more weathering to do, and I'll post photos in the completed section.

Yes, I know.  You can see the edge of the mat.  Sorry, this was a rush job.  Better pics to come.

Now, I can focus on the Strutter and get it done by July 18.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks, Scott!  I can't believe it's been almost that long.  I should have had more models done by now.  Next up is the Strutter.  Not much left on that one either.  After that, I'll probably go back to the WNW W.12 I started a while back.
Cheers,
Bud

Thank you, Ernie!  Trick photography hides a lot of flaws.

Des.
Thanks, Des!  On this one, the rigging is actually holding the whole thing together as the struts are a bit frail.
Cheers,
Bud

Nobody cares if you can see the end of the mat (at least i don't) - that is such a beauty. Well done. Would like to see some more details, please.
