Not too long until you get this put together. I can't imagine how you
plan to rig this. Very nice detail.

Thank you very much, Kevin! Rigging will be difficult indeed, I want to test a new method I have had pending in my head for a while, using combination of Uschi van der Rosten elastic monofilament and thin copper wire to be glued in predrilled holes.

As I have to leave the oil paint to cure, I added a few details to the exhausts meanwhile, hopefully I will find time in the evening to paint them.

Cheers

Your work is simply amazing Ondra, each step of the build is a pure delight.

Ondra, The exhausts are amazing, EVEN FOR YOU!) I enlarged the photo way beyond 1/32nd scale size and they still I am sure you will sort out the rigging as you have had no real issues in the past! Simply amazing work as always!

Many thanks for your kind comments and for your support, Des and Rick! They mean a lot to me.

If there is something I really like about painting, it is exhausts. :) Unfortunately the problems with Photobucket have been persisting, therefore I am not able to upload photos from there.

So here at least one with the exhaust painted and dry fitted on the fuselage. It was painted with Mr. Paint Super Silver metalic first, afterwards with Drooling Bulldog Furnace Black toned slightly blueish with Prussian blue (not really visible on the photos) and in the last step I added the rust towards the end of the exhaust with strongly diluted Drooling Bulldog Caput Mortuum.

Cheers

Ondra

Many thanks for your generous comment, Bud!

I came to the conclusion that it is time to turn her into Mannock's machine. So I drew masks in Inkscape and started painting. Here is where I am standing now. I was positively surprised that my plotter was able to deal with the letter "A" for the fuselage as well as with the serial number (the slash and several touch ups will be done with oil paint).

Cheers

Great! Such tiny masks!  This is really  awesome and I think you'll get in danger to get overrun by questions to cut some masks for forummites here  :)

Wow Ondra, this build never seems to stop my jaw from hitting the floor.  Outstanding in this or any other scale (but especially in this tiny scale)

Wholly agree with the others. This model must be breaking new ground - and it is so accurate too. I have enough problem working at twice the size - I would not even think of attempting to work in this scale!

Same here Ondra. I continue to be impressed. Masking such tiny markings is incredible!
