   Simon,
Outstanding progress my friend. Truly amazing skill and craftsmanship shine through.  I find your lozenge work very impressive and very much true to life in apperance. Did you overlay the lozenge decals with the texure fabric decals. Excellent to can clearly see the weave of the fabric. Master Level works throughout.

Simon,
The more I see of this the more I'm completely impressed. It is magnificent work. If I were not completely happy in my Hobby I'd be getting an inferiority complex; I don't think I'll ever quite match your results.
Keep the photos coming, very enjoyable and a lot to be learned from this Build for this "old fumbler"!
Cheers,
Lance 8)

This is shaping up into a great looking model. The W/W fabric texture lozenge looks very good. Any problems handling them?

Thanks for the compliments, but my Roland is nothing special, I did already interesting things.

I must say that the W / W lozenge fabric texture is top notch, very well work with them. They are thin but strong, respond well to fluids Microscale, go ahead recommend a good product.
Vladimir, good job, keep it up ;)

Amazing work, mate.  Is that an La-5FN that you detailed (I'm not too knowledgeable about WWII Soviet aircraft).

The decals look good, but the wood grain technique you used is very special.

Cheers.

Dal.

Simon, And yet another question; is the W&W Lozenge the "faded" version or the regular? It's as real looking as I've seen to date.

All I can say is that is amazing work.  Your wood work, your engine, the leather, the lozenge, it is truly outstanding.  I am enjoying catching up on your build and your comments on how you did it.

Best
