Its an actual craft I have seen photos.its also the logo for drooling bulldog paints so I think the pilot is known .I will check and get back to you .

The Dog on a chain emblem was featured by Karl`Carlos'meyer of Jasta 4, his Fok DvII(OAW) bore the usual jasta 4 markings,a black nose,struts and wheel covers and black/white borders to the fuselage.the dog in the emblem headed backwards.
