I think it goes to show that selling British WWI aeroplane kits is a lot harder than the German stuff, due - I guess - to the competitively narrow range of colours, camo finishes and markings available - various shades of brown/green. So they have to give stuff away free to tempt buyers.
By comparison, the Albatros's & Fokker's sold like hot cakes. Even the premium on the Fokker failed to slow sales.
Say what you like about those Germans, they sure had some fantastically adorned aeroplanes.
