Tug, I normally seal Post Shading with a coat of semi-gloss clear (Vallejo Polyurethane of late) however on the black finish on this one I did only one wing and all of the shading disappeared! Given the "test" failed I re-shaded the wing and left well enough alone, this one will remain unsealed. The sealer coat has worked very well over other colours and Lozenge decals (and Aviattics PC10 and CDL Decals) as well in the past.

On my first armour models I did the same only to see the effects disappear. Like you, since then I have left as done however I keep all my models protected with card covers made to fit the base tightly. It gradually became apparent that the air movement caused by placing and removal of the cover had the effect of slowly dissipating the residual dust - Some you just can't win eh Regards - Tug
Really well done on the throttle cable etc... They have a very natural, realistic look to them.
