She is finally finished. I messed up the headlights; but I'm pretty happy with the results. The kit comes with a canvas front/windshield which I cut off as I found a lot more pictures without it then I did with it. I added some guitar wire as the brackets and used some discarded lead bitewing cut into strips and painted khaki to represent the straps that hold the roof down. It might needs some more weathering; but my first model in 18 months is done!!!

Thanx

Very nice model! I think it was a good choice to cut the canvas windshield. I never saw exactly such a window on a Ford-t ambulance.

Thank you. I like the look with the straps. Now to do a French one.

Seeing the superb results of your build I am tempted to dig mine out of my stash.

Thank you Des. I'm sure yours will be fantastic. There were. I pitfalls and everything fit with no issues. I screwed up the headlights, the lenses are beveled and the bevel goes inside and I used too much Elmers glue and mucked them up. I'm going to do a French one and leave the back gate down so you can see the other stretcher and the inside. It's an awesome kit and highly recommended.
