Gorgeous interior, Lukas!  Brilliant use of the Aviattic linen and your wood tones are mesmerizing.

Hello there!!!

Thank you all for such a positive comments and encouragement!!! ;) I will be back in Sydney soon... hopefully. So I will be carrying on once Im back... in the meantime I got some paints and masks made by my friend and member of this forum - ondra ;) Im "killing" some time by building submarine and preparing some tanks for painting when I get back... Once I have more progress I will surely share it with you! ;)

Hello again!!!

It has been while since I posted something "my model related" but I need a help. I managed to purchase PE parts for my SE.5 but since they were for great price they didn't come with instruction sheet. I would really appreciate it if any proud owner of those parts could send me any copy of those instructions. ;)

I managed to figure out few parts but some of them are really grey/guessing area ;) :D Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Hi Lukas. If they are Part PE check here:
http://www.jadarhobby.pl/part-s32031-raf-se5a-wwolseley-viper-132-p-14118.html

Lukas,
If not the Part Set then I have the Eduard Set and could copy and mail it or perhaps scan it for you, let me know which you need.
Cheers,
Lance

Hello!

Thank you so much for help!!! Silly me, I forgotten to write who from those PE are. They are from HGW... but by the looks of it those from Eduard might give me a decent clue ;)

Hello my fellow friends!!!!

As I promised, with submarine finished, I finally moved back to make some progress on my SE.5... applied PC10 from Drooling Bulldog and also some insignia using paint from same brand. Some mishaps happened on bottom of the wing but I decided to cover it up with patches of linen that will represent repairs. It still isn't finished as there is still washes, varnishes and weathering to be done and more importantly there is still the letter "K" that will need to go on the top - that Im also planning to cut out from masking tape.

Huge thanks to Ondra who volunteered to produced masks for insignias, massive thanks to Mr Sergej Von Mertens for creating blue and red shades for insignias and big thanks to Richard from Aviattic for his fantastic decals!!!

Thank you for watching

Great to see you back on this project Lukas and what you have achieved with the wing is superb.

This is terrific, Lukas!

I will be using the Aviattic linen for the underside of my Bristfit's wings... I'll be thrilled if I can get close to your results.

Chris

Nice work on the repairs, Lukas. They look quite natural and very much like I'd imagine field work. The DB PC10 looks pretty impressive as well, looking like a winner!

Thanks guys!!!

Lance, those patches will still get bit of weathering so it (hopefully) will look even more "natural" ;) glad you like it... and yes, DB paints received a lot of "airbrush" time and I wasn't disappointed! ;)

Lukas

p.s.Im now waiting for letter "K" to dry out and will apply some varnish and weathering soon ;)

Awesome looking wing, Lukas!  I would be thrilled if I could achieve a similar result.
