Hi George,
I have to thank you for bringing this one to my attention. I emailed Paul and ordered one right away. He could save me on shipping cost to Canada by leaving out the base plate, which is just a big chunk of steel that I can source locally. So mine is on it's way as we speak. Looks like a very useful tool for me and my clumsy hands!
Cheers,
Gary

Mine just arrived too. It should come with a simple assembly diagram, but I guess I'll go to the Facebook page and study the photos to figure out how to put it together. ???

There was no diagram, but once I'd pulled up the pic of it, it was obvious how it went together. Should be very useful!

Mine just arrived in the mail - great service. Other than I'm missing four of the hex screws needed to attach the side arms (which I can pick up at the hardware store), I'm very pleased with the tool.
Cheers,
Gary

Good day,
Just wanted to post an update after using the tool for the last couple of weeks. Due to limited space at my work area I thought that this device would be a handy way of limiting the tricky handling of a 1/32 scale rigging project. Not only is it good for that, but also helps when adding and painting details, decals, etc. The small nylon fastening screws are a bit tough to twist with fingers, but do have a slot for a small screwdriver if necessary. I did source the metal base locally, which saved me a few $$$ on the tool itself and shipping cost.

All in all, I like it and would not want to be without it.

Cheers,
Gary

Thanks for posting your photos, Gary. It's a shame about the high shipping cost to Europe noted in earlier posts because this looks such a useful tool.

Best wishes
Nigel

I've been quoted $100 delivered.

I'm going to order one - looks superb for construction & painting.

If I am correct in remembering that you live in the UK, then $100 USD is a good price. I was quoted $110 and later refunded $25 as the shipping was less than expected, for a grand total of $85 USD shipped to Canada. So $100 anywhere overseas is a good deal. If you're not in the UK just ignore me and assume I just fell off my nut for thinking so.

Hi,

the price for the delivery also did not matter to me. I can only send from my sister in law in the United States the packet. So I did not have to pay at least the costums.
I do not regret it. a very nice part and very helpful!  :D

Kindly regards

Jörg

Yes it is almost priceless. I no longer have to have my wife help me hold things. I don't think I'll miss trying to communicate by pointing with my nose saying "there, no there."  I should ask if she has noticed that I don't bug her for help anymore.
