This Sopwith Pup was made from the old Eduard kit in 1/48 in 2017.
It seems to be one of my most beautiful models until now.

I agree with Des! Very attractive in all respects, especially considering that this is one of Eduards Earlier kits!

I posted my old relic of an Airfix Pup a few years back, here's the HR Model version, still 1:72. Much better!

Not much alteration needed from the basic kit apart from opening up the rear of the fuselage. I reskinned the rear decking to reinstate the longerons after sanding, and I had to sand the top of the nose to correct the profile - the kit nose was angled up a little, but nothing major.

I was perusing these Specific Aircraft Builds when I realized I hadn't added my latest Pups, so here they are:

Both are WNW kits, RFC.  First up is my interpretation of C312 Night Fighter, Stars and Moon, using the excellent Pheon sheet.

Next, is my Gnome Mono Pup using Pheon decals, Brian Fawcett's resin cowling and a Monosoupape engine from the WNW DH2.

Together.

And with their 1/48 scale little brothers.

Cheers,
Bud

Hi Bud,
Great collection.
I hadn't seen that cowl from Brian.
I have his mechanic figures though,
