Thanks guys for your overwhelming support for a spoked wheel tutorial. I have been in contact with Steven and he is willing to do the article for us, it may take a few weeks but he will get it to us eventually.

Looking forward to seeing this. Not quite sure why, I have been procrastinating for long enough about respoking my 1/1 scale WW1 car wire wheels, so why I should want to make small aeroplane ones as well I am not quite sure... must be mad.

Hi Folks, sorry it's taken so long but I'm now in the forum.  I'm very grateful for all the interest in the SPOKED WHEELS TUTORIAL.  I have now started to prepare the tutorial.  Should be ready for publication in 3 x weeks.  I will release to Des some photos asap, when they come back from the photographer, maybe by Wed next week.  I've spent 4 x years searching for a SW solution, I'm happy to share what I think is a good hybrid solution.  If you like the first tutorial, I'll also work-up the second SW design.  SW are not hard to make, it's all technique driven but time consuming.  I think my WW1 aeroplanes are worth the time and SW generate a great response.
Regards
Steven Robson

p.s. included this cropped photo
p.p.s can confirm CD of photos, my models, lots of spoked wheels images posted by photographer today and comming to the forum.

Looking forward to your presentation! However, could
you explain to this OF (Old Fart) what you mean by SW?  :)

Thank you mike in calif.  I'll get a great buzz when you start posting your own planes with spoked wheels.
