Hi there from darkest Africa...

Good evening,

My name is Marc Cilliers and I live in South Africa. I have been a WW1 Aviation fan for many years, and a modeller for just as long, but have only recently returned to WW1 subjects... The models on the site are wonderful, lots of inspiation. I hope my efforts are of some interest... I do model in any scale but seem to pick the larger scales as I grow older...

Looking forward to meeting you all... btw, is there any info on how to post photographs?

Welcome to the Forum Marc. I'm looking forward to your contributions and know you'll enjoy our not so little anymore Club. I'll leave the photo advice to the (younger) experts, it took some coaching to get this Oldster competent with Photobucket, which I now find very quick and easy!

Thank You everyone for the great welcome! Yes, I do like encouragement but I need to see the great work of other modellers to inspire me as well! Thank You for the kind comments, vB, Bud Gregory and Jorg, it seems posting pictures won't be a problem! And that means I can start a blog, lots of fun. Yes, I have had a look around the main site, Wow! There's lots of inspiration there... My humble attempts aren't in that league yet... I will try to improve... I'm a fairly slow modeller with some time constraints, I do it for the fun, relaxation and escape that this great hobby provides...
