Hi everyone,

Does anyone out there have definite info on what is written on the UFAG C.I and Phonix C.I data stencils that were painted on the side of the fuselage of the aircraft?

Thanks for any help,

in cross and cockade international vol 18 no.3 part 7 of the martin o connor 12 part series on a-h markings on page 104 is a close up of a phonix c.1.centered under the port side 3rd round access hatch from the front this is what i can(sorta) read:

Ph  CI  H 230
   121.07
leergewicht  804kg
bethostone  xxxxx      or maybe rethustone  xxxxx i cant read the numbers
--------------------
nutzlast  1025kg

i am not 100% sure of the numbers or the middle word but below the serial of 121.07 it looks very much like a fokker weight stencil. i think "H 230" means hiero 230hp

i will look more but this is what i found so far
