Beautiful work Pietro!  Your resin castings of wings and struts look perfect, and you are obviously very skilled and experienced in that medium.  Any chance we can persuade you to do a tutorial on the Forum tio explain the materials and techniques you use to achieve such fine results?  A how-to guide for the rest of us!  Pretty please?!!  ;D ;)

Regards,

Bob

ps:  If Ron or someone else has already done this, please forgive me.  However, in my view (and in my case) the more instruction we (I) get the better! ;)

I second Bob's motion! Bo delivered some great casting info with the Albatros (I think) but I would especially like to know about casting wings and flatter objects.

Cheers from NYC,
Michael

"Beautiful" is what I think with each new set of photos, Pietro. Beautiful work! It really does look like the real thing, but in miniature.

Hello everyone, it's been a little crazy around here making preparations for Barbara's Dad's 98th birthday. I wish you could all meet Harold(I love him), He was a motorized Army Scout during WW 2  riding Harley WLAs. Here's a few shots of progress(glacial) on the Canuck project. The temporary paper  hood is for a pattern for an aluminum hood and, also, to help me determine how engine detail to omit. Thanks for looking.
Pietro
