Hi Warren,
sorry to hear about your current situation, but maybe the following sentences can provide a little bit of help.
I found myself in a similar situation several years ago and was also about to quit building kits as well as many other things making my life brighter and felt completely down without any light at the end of the tunnel. This is absolutely normal and happens to everyone. By that time my uncle (who was like father to me) helped me by mentioning two "rules" (sorry, I do not know any better expression for that):
- all battles can be won, but not all can be won right now
- it is no shame to be brought down to your knees, it is a shame not to get up
I am not a native speaker so I hope these words come across the way they are meant. To put it simply, hold on and give it time. I am very glad to have met the great guy using the nick WarrenD who has been showing his excellent craftsman skills on his builds and whose comments on my build threads have always been so pleasant and encouraging.
As soon as the time is right and you feel fit again, I am looking forward to following your builds, until then, I will be happy about you looking into this forum and just saying hi.
All the best for you and if I can help you any further, feel free to contact me any time.

Cheers
Ondra
