I wonder if 111 Squadron, serving in Palestine, really did take on what would have been obsolete Eindeckers?

Maybe! I've read that Turkey kept its E.IIIs on into 1917,which is when the SE5as arrived in Palestine...

I bet the Turks had a shock when the S.E.5s arrived!

23 hours after I started and here we are...

I can't finish in under 24 hours as decalfix works in its own good time but all it needs to finish are for the decals to settle down (some still to be applied), a bit of weathering on the exhausts and a coat of flat varnish all over.

Close enough, mate!  She looks fantastic.  Bravo.

Extremely well done Squiffy to have the model so close to being finished in 23 hours, what a mighty effort.

Thanks, chaps. I'll have to do better next time and beat the 24 hours to completion.  :P

It is now completed - http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=3517.150

Great effort, Squiffy!  I am amazed at what you can accomplish in such a short amount of time!
