This morning's work - fuselage sprayed and decals begun. Also some oil staining on the engine firewall.

Plus the tail fin done while other bits dried.

I used the separate iron cross and finished the fin with off-white as I think it gives a more natural look than a regular white.

 Yes, the off white works much better and the oil staining add a nice warmth to the cool metal. It's coming along very nicely!

Just a couple of hours this week due to a busy work and band schedule.

Managed to get the engine fitted along with the tail. Did some shading of the ribs on the tail which seem to have come out pretty well, so I have masked off the wings ready for spraying using a similar technique over the weekend.

The tail colour looks slightly different in the pics as it hasn't yet had any weathering applied like the fuselage. Likewise the engine will get some "oiling" later.
