WNW Fokker E.IV by Sergey Mertens

Hello everybody,

on behalf of Sergey I would like to share a few photos of his current project with you.

It is a WNW Fokker E.IV with linen decals by Sláva Vaňous (Old propeller).

I was astonished by the wooden effect on the propeller and asked Sergey how it was achieved. The answer was quite surprising - to oil colour were applied on a green (!) surface.

Sergey has done a superb job on his Fokker E.IV, the painting is excellent and his detailing is brilliant, looking forward to seeing more of this build.

That is gorgeous work.  My compliments to Sergey, and thank
you, Ondra for passing it along.  This is shaping up to be an absolutely
stunning Eindecker.  The cockpit area is just superb. I look forward
to seeing more of this jewel!

Thanks for posting these on behalf of Sergey, Ondra!  He has done a spectacular job on the interior.  I will definitely be using some of his ideas when I build mine.  Green Paint!?  I love it!
