Great modifications to the engine Arnaud, this is going to be a spectacular build and one well worth following.

Hi Bud and Des,

Thanks!

It's this model:

No it's not!  I have this model and it looks nothing like what you've presented.  ;)
Cheers,
Bud

Arnaud, that's very impressive detail in any scale, in 1:48 Scale it's incredible. Nice Work!

Hi,

Thank you for your comments!

The Roden engines are very beautiful in their boxes.

Iwik: not wax, it's red plastic stretched flame and cut.

I really like the Bo'subject for the Mercedes engine, and I looked on the forum for the BMW.

This link (and others) is awesome:

This one is very nice:

Now, it's in the painting step.

Cheers,

Arnaud

Hi,

I started painting. I have to do rework with a fine paintbrush

I used the salt' technique, after adding the last pieces (red arrow):

The engine is not glued to the support:

A bientôt!  :)

Ahhh!  Now, that's how it's done!  Glad to see you using the BEAM pe, Arnaud.  Very good stuff.
Cheers,
Bud

Hi!  :)

I finished the engine. A spring has disappeared .....

I have health problems, my vertebrae that make me suffer.....  :-\

Yesterday I placed the decals Aviattic. This is specific to the Fokker D.VII F.
This is absolutely awesome, and it is a great pleasure for me.

I bought another Aviattic reference to treat the tail. We can observe the pre-shading.

I must continue, cut the excess parts, and applying a softener product (Mr. Mark Softer).

I recommend without limitation purchase. This is an extraordinary quality!!

Superb work, Arnaud!  The engine is a jewel and I
really like the weathering on both it and the side
access panels.  I'm looking forward to the next
updates. :)

Cheers,
Ernie :)
