Many thanks Gents !!
This scheme should be the one of Emil Schape.
Now it's time to provide her some stuff to fly...Propeller and spinner done. Painting of propeller is time consummating (and with a lot of jammy dog's tape) but it's worth as it's one of the "eye catcher part". Prince august acrylics followed by oil paint and yellow varnish.
Cheers
Pierre

Thanks Terry  ;)
Have to do a new propeller as the dark stripes were in the wrong way. Kits building is always a lesson of humility....

I just came across this build today, and have to say that it's one superb job.  I've also wanted to do this scheme but the documentation is pretty thin.  You really set a pretty high bar with this build!

Truly brilliant work on the prop, Pierre!  Just icing on an already delicious cake!

Thanks !!
Xan it's not boring at all. It's a pleasure to share ;)
First of all a thin layer of "white skull" primer (citadel).
Then thin coat of Prince August air (sand: 75)
Then masking (for the first prop I used Jammy Dog tape, for the second I cut elliptic shape directly in Tamiya tape). It' the longest stage.
Then a coat of Prince August Air (burnt earth:40).
Then a mix of oil paint (ocre de chair, terre de Sienne, ombre brûlée) diluted with oil siccative to harmonize colors.
Finally I used yellow or/and orange Tamiya veener.
Cheers

Beautiful and really well thought out work, Pierre. Bravo.

May I ask what you're using for a pattern for the elliptical shapes?

Cheers from NYC,
Michael
