The jig is from a company called Vertigo.  I wouldn't recommend ordering from them though....the jig came missing the piece which holds the tail of the aircraft.  I have been emailing them constantly for a replacement and keep getting jerked around.

More decal work.  The white really stands out but will look better after weathering.

Fantastic work Kreston! What paint did you use for the blue?

Thanks for the comments!

For the blue I started with Misterkit French roundel blue and added a bit of Vallejo flat blue to darken it.  When the acrylics dried I gave it several washes of Windsor & Newton Indigo oil paint letting each wash dry before applying the next.  When that was finished I applied a final wash of an oil paint called Sepia Extra.  After the decal work is finished I am going to try some new weathering techniques which I will post here.

A little more progress...decals and GasPatch turnbuckles.

Beautiful work on the fuselage painting and decal application, it certainly is a very attractive scheme.

The buckles are looking great! I am looking forward to seeing rigging lines installed in them!
