Appropriate power?
« on: May 24, 2012, 10:34:03 AM »
All,
I hope this is the area for stupid questions. If I were attempting to build a Battle Axe 1/32 Albatross 253 OEFAG would the Wingnut model of the Daimler/Beardmore engine insterted in this model be correct for this aircraft?

No, you need an Austro-Daimler engine.

I unclear about horsepower and models, but I had thought the Beardmore was a licence built copy of the Austro Daimler engine. Nicht wahr?

I believe so, but a different model/type so no it's not compatable. I suggest using the Battleaxe engine, It may be the best bi of the kit.
