This series of articles appeared in Scale Models magazine in the early 1980s, written by Dr Martin O'Connor, colour profiles by Ray Rimell.

thats great jamo thanks. i have the cross and cockade series dr. o'connor did in the 80s plus the flying machines press book he wrote. this gent is one of the main reasons we have anthing on a/h colors.

i wonder is there anything different in these pages from the book "air aces of the austro hungarian empire 1914-1918"? guess i have read it and find out.lol. usually i download and print the articles jamo posts. i'm gradually gon fill a binder.

Written by the same chap so if you have his book, these articles may be redundant, but then you wouldn't have Ray's lovely colour profiles  ;)
