Buckler's writing was originally published in 1939 as Malaula! Der Kampfruf Meiner Staffel The book is an English translation with some parts (that are more to do with propaganda of the regime at the time original publication) omitted and notes added, by Norman Franks, that put things into chronological order and give notes on the pilots and aircraft over which Bucker claimed his victories.
190 pages, 14 of which are photographs of Buckler, his comrades and their aeroplanes.
It's the first book I've read from the perspective of a German pilot and I found it interesting and enjoyable to read.
