In the UK, Customs charge £8 per parcel that arrives from NZ.  It therefore makes sense to order large numbers of kits in a single order.

That's my excuse anyway. I also sold a lot of 1/32 WWII kits and was paid via Paypal, so I had a ready slush fund. A friend who had a lot of WNW kits decided to let most of them go at very good prices - undercutting WNW prices significantly -  so I swapped some more WWII era kits for some of his. And WNW's rather random "Sold Out" signs bring a sense of urgency to the whole enterprise.

So it's really a question of circumstances - I'm actually rather embarrassed having seen how many kits I've got in the stash.

Built: zero

In progress @ 80%: Sopwith Triplane

I reckon that's about it.  Quite enough for a 1/48 scale modeler.

I hear you! Notice my stash isn't that large. I have learned to use leverage like for my recent anniversary . She got about $2,000.00 of home improvement and I got $300.00 in WNW and decals.  :-[

I hear you on that. Usually I have tp beg andplead as well or bribe my wife and she can get her a box of the 2006 Donruss Classics Football cards and I'll get a Wingnut kit or like the two Eindeckers I just got were anniversary gifts, one from my wife and the other from my mom. It's nice to send them the link for what you want. Thst makes a total offour Wingnut kits for me.

Never forget that the cost of a WNW kit compares favourably with that of a new pair of shoes, or dress, or make-up.
