Fokker D.VII: Which type?
« on: August 21, 2014, 03:56:12 PM »
Hi all,

can anyone tell me, which type of Fokker D.VII this is? Fok? OAW? Strange (?) number 10348. Hope the pics of this posting will show.
The photo was probably taken in Coblenz (Koblenz) in 1919 with the US occupation Forces in the Rhineland.

Thank you in advance,
Richard

All I know about this plane is that it was fitted with a 185hp Mana engine.

Thank you, Red Baron and Des! So, in terms of modelling: Do I need WnW's D.VIIF and the radiator of WnW's D.VII Fok. ?

As far as I understood, MANA is a MAN-produced BMW engine. That's why I thought of starting with the F-version.
