Fokker D.VII F and OAW Top Wing Differences?

And the questions keep rolling . . . .

I'm building the WnW Fokker D.VII F 4253/18--Ernst Udet's mount. The booklet states, "While this is a Fokker built D.VII F, the left aileron (and probably entire top wing) is a replacement from Fokker D.VII (OAW) 2076.18."

My question: Are there any appreciable differences in the lozenge used between the F and OAW top wings? There is no lozenge illustrated for the bottom of the OAW top wing in the manual, just what appears to be several additional markings.

Any help/clarification would be greatly appreciated

According to the Datafile Anthology 1 the practice of laying the fabric on differed in as much as Fokker laid a whole width centrally on the centreline of the upper wing as opposed to OAW & Albatros who laid it with a seam in the centre.

Other than that and stencilling I imagine not a lot else differs. You might need to check dataplate locations though. Structurally there were differences but didn't show externally. I believe the OAW wing was stronger.

OAW 2076.18 would have been in 4 colour loz possibly according to the datafile.
